The new year has meant new opportunities to enhance our capabilities. We’ve kicked off 2026 with a focus on technical advancement, conducting rigorous specification trials to drive the next stage of our technical development.
To ensure we remain at the forefront of chemical processing, we recently identified two key areas for potential upgrade: a new Bulk Delivery/Feed System and a new Milling Process.
A Hands-On Approach
We’ve always taken a hands-on approach to quality assurance. Rather than relying solely on datasheets, a dedicated team comprising both Exwold Management and technical experts traveled directly to the manufacturers’ sites in January.
The goal of these visits was to oversee system setup personally and to observe results in real-time. By getting involved on the ground floor, our team was able to evaluate exactly how the machinery performs under pressure and how it might integrate with our existing workflows.
Meeting Rigorous Standards
The primary objective of these trials was to develop clear specification requirements for both projects. Exwold maintains high standards for process safety, quality, and consistency, so it was imperative that any new equipment could meet those benchmarks.
We are pleased to report that the trials allowed us to confirm the suitability of the equipment against our rigorous process and quality standards.
The Outcome
Following the successful completion of these trials, we are moving forward:
- Bulk Delivery System: We have officially signed off on the new Bulk Delivery/Feed system. This upgrade is expected to streamline our material handling and improve overall efficiency.
- Milling Process: The trials for the new Milling Process were equally informative. We are currently analysing the data and working through various implementation options to determine the best fit for our facility.
We look forward to sharing more updates as these new systems are integrated into our operations, further expanding the service and quality we offer to our clients.
