It’s been another busy, successful year at Exwold. We’ve worked hard delivering for our clients throughout 2025, and as December rolled around, we knew it was time to step away from the chemical processing environment and celebrate as a team.

This weekend, we kicked off the festive season with our annual Christmas party, deciding to trade our usual PPE for race suits and helmets, heading down to the go-karting track for an evening of high-speed competition.

More Than Just a Race

It’s easy to get head-down in the day-to-day operations during the year. Events like this give us the chance to properly switch off, share a laugh with colleagues we might not see every day, and see a different side to people. It turns out some of the quietest members of the team have a very heavy right foot once they get behind the wheel!

The rivalry on the track was intense (in the best possible way, of course) with plenty of overtaking, a few harmless spin-outs, and lots of cheering from the sidelines.

Celebrating Success

Ultimately, this weekend was about celebrating a “solid year of work together”. Exwold’s success is entirely driven by the dedication of our staff. Taking the time to acknowledge that hard work and unwind together isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s an essential part of our culture.

The Final Standings

We have to give special mention to those who mastered the track best. A huge congratulations to our podium winners who earned serious bragging rights for the next twelve months!

A massive thank you to everyone who turned up and made it such a brilliant day out, and to the organisers for putting it all together.
